Recorded late 1949 - early 1950 Astor Studios, Auckland, NZ - Tex Morton -Tex Morton [vcl solo/gt], probably Dick Carr [acoustic steel guitar], probably Tom Wallis [bass], probably Al Kinloch [fiddle], probably Herbie Marks [accordion], Noel Peach [producer]... [On some of the Auckland sessions Morton was accompanied by steel guitarist Will Jeffs and other local musicians led by Wally Ransom].

Born Robert William Lane in Nelson NZ 1916 - 1983...Tex had a dispute with Columbia Records and left in 1943 and made few Recordings until 1949.
