The Carraig Una Lyrics
Fishermen who fish the sea , close your eyes and kneel with me
Let us pray to God above , that he might send his love
To the 5 young men who fished on board the CarraigUna
Sometimes I see them in my dreams ,where herring and sea gulls fill the scenes
Returning home again to their families and their friends on the CarraigUna
Chorus
May their memory live on
In our hearts and in our songs
May they never be forgotten
The fine young men
Who fished on board the CarraigUna

November evenings by the shore ,the island light it turns once more
Takes my memory back to then ,when brave young fishermen
Fished for the shoals of herring
In my mind I see them still today , so full of hope and on their way
They carved a living from the sea , dipping soaring over the waves
On the CarraigUna

Fishermen who fish the sea , lay down your nets this night with me
Raise a glass and sing a song to the 5 young men who fished on board the CarraigUna
There is no place that does not breath , happy memories of you
The 5 young men who fished on board the CarraigUna
The fine young men who fished on board the CarraigUna
