Nice Strong Arm--Reality Bath (1987) (full album)

This may be one of the best indie, post-punk, post-hardcore, no-wave, new wave, art rock, noise rock record you may not have heard of, from 1987. This is sounds like it was a huge influence on bands like Unwound, Polvo, Magic Hour, Drive Like Jehu, and countless other subsequent bands, all the harmonics, strange chords and weird timing, intricate Asian-sounding soloing, the earnest vocal inflections etc. They were probably highly influenced by Joy Division, Sonic Youth, Live Skull, the Swans, etc, yet the may have influenced Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation in terms of a lot of the Josef K type chords on here that weren't on Sister or earlier albums but start showing up on Daydream Nation, etc. Also check out their great song Desert Beauty Blooms, also totally sounds like a huge Unwound/Polvo influence. One of the best 80s indie records ever!
