Here's something a little different... I am pretty notorious for NOT watching \"entertainment recap\" shows, and as such, had no idea that John Tesh was \"the guy from Entertainment Tonight\" when I first heard this album.
I was working in a record store, and the Private Music label was known for quality relaxing new age music. With the bold colors on the cover for this album, I suspected it may hold a surprise, but nothing prepared me for when I first hit play on the CD Player - loud, in your face drums, screeching guitars, and more energy than the entire existing Private Music catalog up til that point!
I recently found a copy of this on vinyl, and found that I still really like it - especially this album opener, still as shockingly good as it was 30 years ago!
