Giant was an experimental doom metal band in the vein of Isis, Pelican and Neurosis hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina (USA). Blending innovative instrumentation, including strings and organ, their sound is heavy and towering, yet melodic. They upheld strong anti-capitalist, vegan, straightedge ideals, and both intellectual and deeply passionate elements can found in their music and lyrics. They released an EP (\"Song\") as well as a split with past tour mates Tides.
