The Drum Kit used on this recording was a Pearl Forum Kit with Remo Coated Ambassador Heads on the 12\" Tom and Remo Emperor Black Suede on the 16\" Floor Tom. The Bass drum used a Powerstroke 3 head. The Snare used was a Pearl Omar Hakim signature snare drum with a Powerstroke 3 head on it. I also used a set of Roto-Toms with Remo Pinstripes. The Cymbals used were a set of 13\" Zildjian New Beats for the hi hats and 16\" and 18\" Sabain AAX Studio Crashs and a 21\" Zildjian A Series Sweet Ride Cymbal. The Percussion used was an LP Low Pitch Blast Block. The Bass drum pedal was a Pearl P-100. The kit was mic'd with Shure SM57's as the over heads and on the snare with an Audix D6 in the bass drum.
Jonah's Bass Rig was a 5 string Sterling Bass recorded Direct Out through my Fender Rumble 350 Bass Head going through a gallien krueger goldline 410 cabinet. Jonah uses Ernie Ball strings and his pedal board changes often so I don't remember what he used.
Ian's guitar rig was my BlackStar HT-60 Amp on the Clean Channel with a Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive serving as a high pass filter for the electro harmonix little big muff pedal which then fed into my Boss TE-2 Tera Echo. The guitar used was a newer Guild Starfire. The Amp was mic'd with an Audio Technica ATM63HE.
Felix's Guitar rig was my Fender Frontman 212R amp on the clean channel. Felix's pedal setup is really crazy so I don't remember what he used but I know he used a digitech whammy, danelectro hash brown flanger, Earthquaker devices interstellar orbiter, Memory boy by electro harmonix, and a tc IV reverb. The guitar's he used were a 1972 Epiphone Casino EA-255 and my 1982 Peavey T-27. His amp was mic'd with an Audix I5
After the Session, Felix went home and the rest of us went over to our friend Dylan Gladu's house and hung out in his garage and ate chicken nuggets.
