A terrifying fuzz tune with an insane vocal break. The band was formed by Billy Guy (vocals), Johnny Navarre (lead guitar), Randy Smith (guitar), Sam Steves (organ), Joe Steves (drums) and Jim Downing (saxophon). The band used to play popular hits from the 60's but wanted to record a single. The recorded \"Powered By Love\"/\"Ride On A Magic Carpet\", both sides written by Guy. The first pressing was on PBL (I've guessed it was their own label) and the second on Dome in April, 1967.The could play the song on American Bandstand and local radio stations. The band disbanded by the end of 1967.
