It has been a long time coming for Close to the Bone to finally release some music in the online realm after killing it in venues all around New Zealand.

They have decided to kick things off with a high energy live music video filmed in Auckland, New Zealand at a venue called Eat My Lunch.
Not typically a venue set up to host a concert, the band had to hire a professional sound system and build a stage larger than the likes of any they have ever played on around New Zealand.
Being a relatively new local band they had to heavily promote to get people in the door for the video. They did this by offering their audience an all-you-can-drink-keg party with 200 litres of beer and 60 litres of cider available... they also ended up making a massive bowl of punch just in case the audience was still thirsty.
Close to the Bone's bassist - as well as one of the members of the supporting band, Blood Buffalo - happened to be chefs at Eat My Lunch. Together they made use of the kitchen to provide the entire audience with an all you can eat buffet.

What a gig right?
The tickets sold out and the night was a massive success, though traumatic to the neighbours as the venue was not soundproofed at all and all that was separating the neighbours and the band was a huge wall of glass panes as seen in the video...

\"I understand it is the Auckland City and that noise does come but man, that Friday night was horrible, scary and something out of this world.\" - email received by Eat My Lunch the day following the event.

That was the first and last concert ever held at Eat My Lunch, a gig never to be forgotten by those who were there.
