It seems that Flammer Dance Band has been dabbling their hands and feet into the cosmic pool of

Psychedelic funk before producing Flammer (2018) because the flow of this LP is out of this world. The stammering rhythms, brisk drums, vintage spacey synths, compact organs, assertive guitar riffs, and adventurous keyboards give it a decisive 1970s western African flavour enriched by the luscious pitched down vocals and masterful sax solos.



We even go as far as stating that this record represents the future of Afrofunk, which here has been revisited under the influences of Olso’s dancing music scene and will become a staple of crate diggers in the years to come. One last thing: get ready to move around because this neatly packed LP by Lyskestrekk records label is a dance bomb worth of the world best dancefloors and delivering the spontaneity, flow, and energy of a live jam band! We honestly loved Flammer and we hope you’ll enjoy it too.
