Wow this was a bit late, eh? Lavender Town is clearly one of the most Halloween-friendly songs in video game music, featuring an eerie 4-note pattern and a mix of dissonance and disturbances throughout the tune. When working on my album, I knew that I would be up against some of the most incredible renditions of this famous song - rightfully so I took arranging this super seriously. I played with the idea of a more doom-metal finale and brought out the big 8 string for rhythms. Meanwhile the song takes on a lot of influences from grunge to progressive-metal and death-metal (spot the screams!). Ultimately I'm super happy with it and think it's my favorite off the album.
Videowise, this entire thing is of course thanks to the work of Denis Z. and Mattattack who have helped with a lot of my videos! We were really determined to improve upon last Halloween's \"Shadow Temple\" video by getting better low-light, more creative drone shots, and hopefully some slightly more interesting VFX and acting. We wanted to try and get the \"Cubone Mother\" look, but more of a shamanistic rated R version! I hope by the time I can make more of these videos frequently, we'll have better story endings than the ghost just disappearing. Happy Halloween-November 1st :)

I do NOT make TABS or SHEETS for my music.
