This LP record was likely recorded in 1978, although neither the record or the jacket give any indication of an exact date. The performing ensemble is the Schola Cantorum--an ensemble which no longer exists at VU, but was replaced by two large ensembles, the Kantorei and the Chorale. This record was loaned to me by a faculty member of VU, and I digitized it so that it might be enjoyed by other music-lovers and VU alumni.





I should note that no copyright is claimed on the record jacket or label.







This digitization was made using a very clean record and fine equipment so that the sound could be reproduced as well as possible. Most of the noise, distortion, and hiss in the recording is a result of the original recording equipment and not the digitization process.
