Eclipse was an AOR band from Anaheim, CA. They released a 7’’ single in 1986 (Tell Me The Reason / Sound Of Love) and a 8-song LP in 1987, titled “7th Floor”. This is truly an AOR gem with catchy songs, with members Joe Child and Scott Doyle doing magic on synth & keyboard. My favorite tracks are “Life Goes On”, “Sound Of Love” & the title track “7th Floor” which is an unbelievable tune. The band received some exposure on local radio stations but they undeservedly remained unknown to the masses. The band was: Joe Child (Keyboards, Vocals), Scott Doyle (Lead Vocals, Keyboards, Piano), Frank Vargas (Guitar, Vocals), Vince Vargas (Bass, Vocals) and Pat Collins (Drums, Percussion)
