Gidget (Washington-Karger) by Jimmy Darren, orchestra conducted by Morris Stoloff (Darren’s billing would be changed to ‘James’ on his seventh single in early 1960)

Darren co-starred as ‘Moondoggie’ with Sandra Dee as ‘Gidget’ in the first of the “Gidget” films. The Four Preps version of this title song is also available here on the channel.

Note that the most common stereo issues of this title are taken from the unsweetened master tapes and lack the reverb and presence of this posted single version.
