I worked hard and accomplished many things this summer, so for the end of the last full month of it, August, I went on a little short but sweet, fun and relaxing journey to recreate a lot of my favorite past works using the MIDI soundfont OmegaGMGS2 by Rick Simon, a soundfont that my friend Ryujin (Black Phoenix) got me interested in back in the nostalgic days of late 2017. I didn't start making any tracks with it until March this year, and although I am starting to become quite busy with my first year of college and all the things that come along with it (most of them awesomeness), I found that I could make these cute little MIDI soundfont recreations very quickly (3 in a normal busy college school day), and I decided I would make an album like this out of pure enjoyment and low stress to cool me down from all the action that took place over the past couple months. That said action involved me participating in many amazing Touhou arrange/remix collaborations with many new great friends I made in Discord, and one of those collab albums happened to be a CD released at Comiket 96 (Hifuugatari by Higan Daybreak), which is something I thought I would never be able to participate in, at least not anytime soon (it still happened though, and having arranged track #13 for that album made me feel a lot less unlucky about the number 13 (lol)). I would like to give a big special thanks to the amazing Amemu * of the Turkey based Touhou Doujin circle * Works for helping me make the album covers look so much better, and for all the support she gave me on top of that!! (I will put the link to her channel down below, please check it out (she makes so much awesomeness Touhou arrange music that never fails to impress and inspire me!!)). To conclude, I don't think this is really my best album ever (hehe), but nonetheless it was an album I wanted to make for fun and I certainly had fun doing it!! Next time (coming soon!!) LTEDTX will be back with Roland Sound Canvas MIDI rock arrangements like never before, and maybe even some more professional sounding non-Sound Canvas MIDI action!! Either way, I hope you will look forward to what I will have in store for you all in the distant future, and I will be getting to work on more awesomeness right away, so please enjoy this little compilation album for the time being :)
