Podgorica:MANIPULATED is a conceptual album I made in 15 days. I recorded various sounds all over Podgorica with ZOOM recorder, selected and chopped material I can use and made modern bass music out of it. You can hear sounds of neighbors drilling and renovating their apartment in the early morning, bumping of Millenium bridge, traffic jams and collapses, construction workers, church bells and people around it, atmosphere of Gorica hill, generators, and bumping on various objects found while walking through the city and some random people talking and more...Important note is that no other sounds than those I recorded were used in any of these tracks!
Whole thing is a little soundtrack of the city, and sounds like intergalactic halftempo trap dnb electro industrial experiment. Some of the sounds remained raw, yet a lot of them were manipulated to fit the purpose.
Entire thing was performed live with ableton+APC40 in april, but it's now here in a full album form for your ears.
