Esther played the fair in Nashville, and afterwords we decided to play a little song right in the middle of it. It's music city, so no one blinked an eye at the trio of weirdos playing old-timey sounding hits, or the cameras pointed at them. Just another day in the city. Turns out Sex and Magic was a real song, too. Thanks Chris Acker, always telling us about the good stuff. She really is an angel, charisma incarnate! Looking forward to many more songs and stories for y'all with Esther.
That's Lyle Werner on fiddle - the mild mannered good-fella you can't help but love. To her right is our friend Casey Jane, another super star. All part of the New Orleans crowd who blessed our town with some good music this season. Will never get enough of their music, company and friendship!
