I was one of the many people really excited to hear that Toby Fox got to compose a song for Pokemon Sword & Shield. I think it's easy to forget that it wasn't long ago that very few people knew who he was or what Undertale was or what it would become. His life has changed so much in the past 5 years, but it's so cool to see him still making music and games in such an amazing and unique way. His music has always been very difficult for me to play, but it's a pleasure nonetheless.

This is a song I knew I'd cover eventually, and I wanted to do something very melodic and fun this week since I'm gearing up for PAX East. I spent the majority of time on this just tracking it and orchestrating this one, but left the mixing pretty bare-bones and just tried to let it breathe rather than try go over board with it. I didn't arrange it super crazy either since there is so much going on and I've been getting (fair pointed) comments saying my covers have been busier. I just love layers and layers of guitar, what can I say?
