From the Rick Colom Collection: Over two springtime 1941 sessions, Sonny Kendis, piano-playing leader of the house band at New York’s famous Stork Club, recorded this danceable collection of older tunes--four instrumentals and four with vocal by Jimmy Saunders (shown as “Sonny Saunders”). The eight tracks were issued by Columbia Records as album set C-75 “A Night At The Stork Club.”
