Most Catholic music of the 1960's and 1970's was primarily aimed at liturgical use. And this album certainly has elements that are directed that way although I doubt most parishes had the musicians that were up to performing it. This album, however, has more of a pop feel to it, very well done, and had it been on the Protestant side of the genre would have done well. Unfortunately it was not, and so it never got the airplay--and credit--it deserved.
