HiTEC (Histrionic Thought Experiment Cooperative) was an orchestra founded by tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE in July of 2008 that played 72 times before its demise in March of 2010. HiTEC's basis in Thought Experiments (rather than musical intention) is clearest w/ such Systems as 'Brain-In-A-Vat.' Decide that you're a brain-in-a-vat instead of a brain-in-a-skull & that your perceptions of what's happening in the current Systems Management session are programmed perceptions rather than 'real' ones.
