I wasn't even originally covering this song, lmao.
Originally, I was covering \"Incoming!\" for the album, but I finished the arrangement for it back in June, and even back then, I wasn't too settled on it. Fast forward to this month, when I went back to it to prepare for this video, and I really wasn't feeling it. Sorry \"Incoming!\" fans, that one won't be on the album.
So, I went through the OST to find a replacement track, and I had a few ideas in mind, but once I started playing along to this track, I was sold. It's so much fun to play, and the idea of turning that fun bouncy track into a metal theme seemed like a lot of fun to me, so I got to work and had the arrangement done a day later. I generally don't have so few layers going on in my tracks, so let me know what you guys think of this!
With this song, there's only one more track to be released, on the album's release date. I still have some re-recording to do of the first half of the album, so I won't say my target date yet until I know its a certainty (consider that a lesson learned, from announcing the album and them immediately disappearing off the face of the planet for 4 months), but I really think you guys are going to dig the last song I have planned for you guys. I can safely say it's nothing like I've ever done before.
