'Beau Mot Plage' is house, but more for the dark backrooms than the strobe-lit super clubs. Its lifting dreamlike housescape is built around a constant groove which is enlivened by reverberated synth melodies flowing in and out of the mix throughout. Shimmering with a hazy dub feel, acoustic guitars and Afro-strumming make the kind of hallucinogenic magic you'd get if you crossed Larry Heard, New Order and Sueno Latino.

For this release 'Beau Mot Plage' gets re-edited by Heaven & Earth aka Luke Solomon and Rob Mello, who cleverly opt for leaving the rough elegance of the original but remove some of its abstractions, whilst Glasgow's infamous loop master, DJ Q, takes things to a darker place, bringing out the true grit of the track.
