Cashmere formed in 1982, after the demise of Heaven And Earth.
The group was leading by tenor and falsetto singer Dwight Dukes whereas the other members were keyboardist McKinley Horton, drummer Daryl Burgee, and vocalist Keith Steward.
In 1982, the group worked with producer Bryan Loren on their debut album. They recorded only two mid 80's albums.
There was personel change on each album, with Dwight Dukes remaining at the forefront. Their hits \"Do It Anyway You Wanna\", \"Can I\" and \"Let The Music Turn You On\" are considered 80's boogie classics. Listen in HQsound to the original 12 inch vinyl version......
