A great jazz album featuring mostly Bellson's own compositions, not to mention his drumming, which is in top form. These recordings are from the DRG Records CD reissue; note that there are some brief moments of significant distortion, which at first I suspected were unique to the CD reissue, but they are actually present on my original 8-track cartridge too (and thus presumably on original LPs also).
