\"Five Nocturnes For Immersion\" is an extremely personal album. It was born from an intensive battle with shadows and boundaries I’ve set for myself. It’s a triumph of human will, an upward move, an epiphany.
Musically, it’s my first attempt in sound design and electronic synthesis. There’s a modular synthesizer system programmed to battle chaotic patterns, field recordings that caress an old piano played at low speed, spooky drones for a night in, prayers that are being whispered by ghosts, and many other experiments with sound.
For each track, I've written a short poem that you can read while the music is playing. Poetry is like magic, you don't have to explain it in order to enjoy it. Let the words flow in your mind together with the music in the most natural way.
I recommend listening with a good pair of headphones. If you try to focus on each sound, this album can be used for meditation and even have light psychedelic effects for people who have a long experience with meditation.
