the songs 8, 9, 10 (the 3 cd-only bonus tracks) are new re-recorded versions with italian singing of 3 tracks (the rock is never ending, intro+only moments, strange life) that were on their 1st album \"The Rock is never ending\" 1989, with english vocals
the band was founded in 1981 in Pergine Valsugana (Trento, Trentino Alto Adige, Italy) , under the name Metal Power, doing several gigs everywhere, playing the classical hard rock / heavymetal covers of the '70's / early '80's. the mastermind was and still is Mauro Borgogno. slowly, the band creates their own original songs... in the middle of the '80's they change name into Rising Power, and in 1989 is out finally their 1st release : the cult debut album \"The Rock Is Never Ending\", released only on vinyl, limited to 500 copies. the album is entirely sung in english and it is a masterpiece of hardrock/heavymetal. after the usual intense live activity, in 1992 is ready their 2nd release : the album \"Troppo Oro E Argento\" (\"Too Much Gold And Silver\"), released on vinyl (with 7 tracks) and on cd (with 3 cd-only bonus tracks). this time all the songs are sung in their original italian language. it is another great album of hard rock-heavymetal ; the three cd-only bonus tracks are new versions of 3 tracks from the debut lp, and sung in italian instead of english. the band continues with several gigs, but without composing any new stuff... in 2004 is out their 3rd release : \"Live At The Lake\" , a live album recorded that summer at the Lake Of Caldonazzo, near their city, which it contains mainly covers. the band is still alive nowadays, ...some ideas are in the air... time will tell if there will be a 3rd studio album with new tracks... we hope so.
