\"In summer 2001 Berthold Fehmer and I came up with the idea of founding a jazz-trio which became a rock band instead. Junk Farm was born. 9 months later we recorded our first 3-track demo and very soon we prepared for a whole longplay cd, gathering all our song material for a reasonable playing-time. This first self-titled Junk Farm cd has been finished and distributed in 2003 only by ourselves.
Some years ago when I riffled through my recordings from long ago, I found myself enjoying this first album. A collection of songs, fresh and far from perfect, displaying the musical self-finding process of a band, containing my singing debut and after all, having no predecessor as a reference. Soundwise unsatisfying, I decided to remix those tracks every now and then, just for the fun without having any purpose in mind.
So here it is! Finally after three years the whole album is completely remixed and I'd like to share it with you, hoping you like it as much as I do.\"
