Though it was the inclusion of Harry Nilsson’s “Everybody’s Talkin’” in the “Midnight Cowboy” movie soundtrack that made the more lasting impression on most viewers, this pretty title theme composed by John Barry was also a popular record seller at the time. The piano duo’s final top-10 hit featured the ‘watery’ guitar sound of prominent session musician Vinnie Bell.
