Goymamba nace en el verano del 2007.compuesto por nueve integrantes influenciados por el sonido jamaiquino e ingles del reggae de los años 70/80..s.
Esta formación se destaca por su estupenda armonia vocal a cargo de la primer linea de escenario femenina llamada “las mambas”.
Su base musical es 100% roots reggae con toques de hip-hop, grovee y guitarras rockeras que logran una propuesta completamente novedosa dentro del panorama del reggae nacional..
A pocos meses de consolidarse sacan su primer EP llamado”Give up my song”.
lo presentan durante todo el año por los principales pubs y salas de Madrid logrando una muy buena acogida por parte del publico.
En el 2009 se presentan al concurso de las fiestas de San Lorenzo en el barrio de Lavapies , logran el primer puesto llevandolos a formar parte del cartel principal del evento y tocando por primera ves ante mas de 1000 personas.
Participaron tambien en el disco compilatorio del festival Mundo libre , en solidaridad con los presos politicos de Atenco Mexico .
El 2011 lo reciben con la grabación de su segundo EP “Show me “ es aqui donde la popularidad del grupo sube de manera considerable y tanto las ventas como las descargas gratuitas del disco son todo un éxito .
Actualmente el grupo se encuentra girando por las principales salas y festivales a nivel nacional y con visperas de expandirlo al resto de Europa

Goymamba formed in the summer of 2007 made up of nine members influenced by the reggae sound that came out of Jamaica and England in the 70/80s. The band stands out with the great female vocal harmonies of ´The Mambas' coming from the front line on stage. The music is 100% roots reggae with touches of hip hop, groove and rock guitars that gives them an original sound in the national reggae scene.
Only a few months after getting together they released their first EP called ' Give up My Song' and toured the main venues of Madrid getting a warm reception from the public. In 2009 they took part , and eventually won, in the battle of the bands in the 'fiestas' in San Lorenzo, a neighbourhood
