A classic Vesta Victoria song of 1908. Love going wrong can be the subject of a tear jerking ballad, or in this case a music hall song! Florrie Forde recorded her version for 'The Twin' label (CAT. No. 160), on 22/4/1909. In 1908 The Twin was launched as a subsidiary to 'His Master's Voice' who only produced single sided discs at the time. The label deliberately made no reference to the parent company, who at the time considered double siders to be 'down market', but still wanted to compete with cheaper companies that produced them in large numbers.
