This one has long been a favorite of mine, and this is my favorite version of the song as well (First recorded by Marvin and Johnny in 1954). I don't really need to say much about this record, Skip and Flip were Clyde \"Skip\" Battin and Gary \"Flip\" Paxton. Dig how the backing musicians are credited as Clyde Gary and His Orchestra. How I miss the days when real orchestra musicians were brought in to a studio to perform on a recording, the days before everything like that could be done on a computer and come out sounding like it was done on a computer. Oh well, at least we have great records like this one to remind us of the good old days....This one made it to #11 in 1960.
