MEMOZ is a collection of moments inspired by thoughts, people, visuals, conversations, even animals... Sometimes it was just something that wanted to come out of me and I let it, but before I did, I made sure I pressed record on my phone (so it would not fade away like so many ideas before).
MEMOZ is not about perfection, it is about the journey, the rawness, the mistakes we learn from, the intuition we rely on, the good feelings that we lean on. You could say it is a colourful example of my mind.
There is a story behind each track. They weren't written for the album, they were chosen amongst hundreds of voice memos I recorded over the years.
This album is one huge teaser of what is to come. A peak into my world. I said to myself \"Let's really start from the bottom... and build our way up\". That is why I decided to share the roots of my ideas, the voice memos, the spontaneous improvisations, the random notions. Some tracks will later on get to become studio versions (some already have), and parts of Memoz will be used as samples for new pieces in the future, but more than that, as well.
Only time will tell the whole story.
