Hey guys! It's been a minute since my last upload but I'm back with this tasty new jam from Xenoblade Chronicles!
Since my last cover, I went off to Maryland to attend MAGFest (music and gaming festival) to hang out with a ton of awesome people in the both in the VGM communiity and also some other musicians and gamers. Like every time I've attended MAGFest, it was an amazingly inspirational experience and it feels great to be back with some recharged batteries for 2017!
This theme was a request from a very awesome supporter and long time friend, Yami_Gita! I actuallly met him at my fiirst MAGFest 3 years ago and we've been tight ever since. It's a pleasure to shred this track for you Yami!
This theme even in its original state is an absolute metal banger! The riffs were already there, I just needed to Toxify it a bit and throw in my own touches. I took some sections (mainly that beautiful Fminor bridge section) and expanded on it a ton. I also couldn't resist shredding the absolute crap out of that chorus chord progression. It has such a JRPG vibe to it which I rarely get to shred over. It's extremely fun though and I'm very proud of the ridiculously over the top solo I came up with for it.
Overall I'm extremely stoked on this cover, It fits my style perfectly and I think Yami definitely knew that as he was requesting it!
I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it!
