Notes from Daniel about this arrangement:

This previous October when the Game Brass was also releasing Brasslevania, it was my pleasure to co-produce the Materia Collective album EPOCH: A Tribute to Chrono Trigger with Jeff Brenneman. Robby had the idea to turn the main theme into an enormous piece for 16-person brass ensemble, and created the arrangement with the assistance of Thomas when he got stuck. It was a great pleasure recruiting so many of our brass-playing friends to help with the performance and recording!

The Main Theme from Chrono Trigger is extremely important to set the adventurous tone for the game, and the huge ensemble really delivered! This piece received several honors; it was a great pleasure to be featured by Power-Up Audio at SGDQ (Summer Games Done Quick) 2019 preceding puwexils Chrono Trigger run which brought the total donations to over $3,000,000. And at Magfest 2020, we were awarded the top prize for Best Chamber/Acoustic Remix by the Game Audio Network Guild. We could not have done this without the help from so many wonderful friends and collaborators and would like to thank everyone for their hard work!
