ΚΑΤΑΠΥΓΩΝ is mystical-philologic-musical unity created for ultimate purification of the world in fire of Primordial Logos. Project's music is built around multiply processed ancient texts (Empedocles, Pindar, Orphic hymns), faded melodies and warped noises - here you can hear revived poems that were once songs and then became just dead set of letters. Recorded & processed, this musiс intertwines again in the live sessions, turning into viscous drones and psychedelic sound landscapes.ΚΑΤΑΠΥΓΩΝ - really obscene name, because it meant to deprive magic rituals of hierophant's serious face, which, of course, will simplify the final goal - disruption of the world down to its first pure principles, using εἰρωνεία, literally – «dissimilation».
