Paul Steen is a swedish artist working in Germany. His exhibitions often incorporate sound, and he first made ambient music as a soundtrack to a series of short films on VHS as an exchange student at the Munich Art Academy in 1996. After singing in various projects ranging from gothic folk to industral, \"FLOOD\", 2020 is his first ambient album, and the first album in his own name. It incorporates the traditional Swedish nyckelharpa/keyed fiddle and field recordings to create raw living soundscapes.
