A strange piece, a fox-trot written by the great Russian opera star, Feodor Chaliapin - more like a melange of Russian operatic motifs than a fox-trot. This is the only dance band recording of it, although it was also issued on a British piano roll in 1925.

Recorded at Hayes, 8 December 1924, in an arrangement by the band's leader, Debroy Somers.
