A highly anticipated album for anyone who heard the lead single, and one we have utmost pleasure in unveiling for you in full today! Here we have, at last, the entirely of this most majestic of atmospheric black metal releases; Boréalys
Là où les eaux se séparent sets its scene in the marshlands of the album art, with wading bird calls evoking the rising mist of a dawn – that half-light that the music and voices of this album convey perfectly. The bucolic uplifting black metal is accompanied by male roars and lilting female voice, intertwined with melodic chanting in the background, balancing ferocity and delicacy.
We have had this release on hard repeat for a while now, waiting for this day to arrive, and every repeat play has the same powerfully ethereal quality to it. A superb release!
Tapes are up for pre-order from Winter Sky Records and Les Fleur du Mal today, to be released in January.
