If you like the way Amon Tobin and Squarepusher combine the frenzy of drum and bass beats with dense, menaceful jazzy atmospheres, you should give this Spring Heel Jack work a try. The English duo, consisting of producers/composers John Coxon and Ashley Wales, crafted difficult tunes featuring live instrumentation that in some way are much more akin to John Coltrane's avant-garde compositions than to ordinary D'n'B.
