'The Tramp's Philosophy' is a song I discovered while researching 'Holly Ho', which I released on my EP, 'The Trial of Bill burn Under Martin's Act'. Both songs came from the singing of Joe Mallen, and were collected from the Old Cross Guns pub in Cradley Heath, the Black Country, by Phil Drabble. I will write more about this on my blog once I get around to recording it for my next album. For the time being, however, here's a rough and ready unaccompanied version of it, plus a brief explanation on my reason for recording it today.
