Upon digital download of this LP, there will be 6 bonus pictures of various AI art pieces, older or alternate variations of cover art, a video of the director's cut of the promotional video \"GRAND MAL 2006,\" among other things. In total, there are 10+ bonus items. There are 3 bonus songs, one is a copy of the original audio for GRAND MAL 2006, one is an acoustic version of \"i heard ohio's nice this time of year,\" and another is a scrapped track from the album (which there are plenty of that may be included in a \"b-sides and rarities\" type thing in the future.)
Being the third and most ambitious LP I have ever written, recorded, and produced, \"contemporary experiences\" can be viewed as a particular successor to my debut album, \"songs for nerds,\" which I released in November of 2019 (despite the release of \"the nothing is the everything\" in June of 2020.) I have poured my heart and soul into this piece that was written over months and months, enough to be considered a double album (though it isn't.)
A few old songs were written (but never released in an official capacity) under a different name made it onto this piece. Those two were written probably around the spring of 2020. \"interlude\" is from probably late 2019, making it the oldest track on this album. I never really knew how to finish it. Several songs were rejected (and placed onto a different project that will be released alongside the release of this album.)
Neither \"contemporary experiences\" nor \"songs for nerds\" are concept albums.
\"This is a great and energized song, if you are not careful you just might get lost in it.\"
