This is Big Joe Turner's original risqué version of \"Shake, Rattle, and Roll\". It caused quite a stir for its sexually explicit lyrics and obvious double entendres. As a result, Bill Haley and The Comets cleaned up some of the verses and released their cover version later in the year. Rolling Sone magazine ranked the song #127 out of the 500 greatest songs of all time.
This is the original HIT MONO MIX released on Atlantic 1026 when this was a HUGE hit on AM Top 40 radio stations in the winter and spring of '54.
