Fold is a track I wrote about me sticking to what I’ve always wanted to do, which is making melodic music that I enjoy for myself. Recently my hobby as a producer has started progressing a lot faster, but that's especially true for my friends around me. As they move more into the dubstep scene, I’ve always felt this pressure from others to do the same and while I enjoy making the music, my previous EP felt like a pull away from the style that I originally fell in love with. This experimentation has lead to a lot of interesting ideas, but Fold along with the recent and upcoming singles planned really showcase my sound as an artist and the unique approach I want to take into dubstep. To put it quite literally, despite the rise of modern melodic dubstep and riddim, I don’t want to fold under the pressure of conforming to the sound; I know where I want to be in the scene and hopefully by just continuing to work hard I can reach my dreams.
