Very nifty vid for this funky little tune off of Carrie's self-titled solo album. Alongside Sam Harris and Kim O'Leary, she was one of a handful of white artists whom Motown tried to market during the late 80's...but Carrie's music, produced by the late, great Willie Hutch, was a bit more in the funky realm than the others'. Hutch also wrote this song. Prior to signing with Hitsville, Carrie had enjoyed some success in her native Iowa with a few independent releases, as well as some childhood appearances with Johnny Carson on \"The Tonight Show\" in the early 70's!
