John Holt's 1969 reggae classic \"Ali Baba\". With one of the most famous intros in reggae music, John Holt's sweet soulful voice and a killer riddim courtesy of Tommy McCook & The Supersonics, \"Ali Baba\" deserve's its 'classic' status - despite the bizarre lyrics! The story goes that on arriving at Duke Reid's Treasure Isle studio to voice the tune, Holt was stuck for words, so simply recounted a dream he had the previous night and filled in with a smattering lines from fairy tales.
