The Harmony record label says Gay Ellis with Hotel Pennsylvania Music (a pseudonym). The violin solo behind her vocal sounds like Joe Venuti to me! There is aiso a guitar, who may be Eddie Lang!

New Info: This song was written in part by Billy Rose, who was married then to Ziegfeld's jewish comedian Fanny Brice, and promoted her in the new talkies, in her first United Artists sound film, \"Be Yourself\". She sang this song to Robert Armstrong (you know him from King Kong) in the film. Fanny had previously made an early Vitaphone Warner Brothers talkie called \"My Man\", that is lost. Some sound track records have turned up, but the film is dust in the can.
