1965 Give You What I Got on Stax/Volt records.Originally a member of The Drapels, Wendy rene was an R&B/Soul singer and songwriter.Her other hits include \"After Laughter Comes Tears\"and \"Bar-B-Q\".Born Mary Frierson,she was given the stage name Wendy Rene by Otis Redding.In December 1967 Wendy was scheduled to fly with Otis and his back up band The Bar-kays for what would have been her final live performance.But being a new mother she pulled out at the last minute to stay with her child.Tragically the plane crashed.Sadly Otis redding,his manager,the pilot and four members of The Bar-Kays lost their lives.This is for you AMY x I sent this vid to Amy Winehouse,she watched it and said \"That`s SWEET baby girl\" bless her HEART and SOUL x Mwaaah
