Avant Garde was a short-lived duo, backed with session musicians, originating in 1967.
Their first single, \"Naturally Stoned\" hit the Top 40 at #40 in 1968. A follow-up single, \"Yellow Beads\" faltered in the Hot 100. And this record, \"Fly With Me!\" went \"bubbling under\" -- way under -- at #130!
They disbanded in 1968. Member Elkin \"Bubba\" Fowler continued to sing and record folk music. Chuck Woolery became a daytime game show host, including \"Love Connection\", \"Scrabble\", \"Greed\" and \"Wheel Of Fortune\".
