This track was so much fun to work on! As well as trying to recapture the frantic feel of the original track with staccato strings and heavy percussion, it was a real challenge getting each of the complex lines and melodies to sing out in each of the parts. I really love how it turned out! Cave Story's soundtrack by Daisuke Amaya (a.k.a. Pixel) is masterfully crafted, and I'm definitely going to be working on some more music from Cave Story on Volume 2 of this series!
