Slamming gear from NYC's Marco Rosales on the dope Siege Records label that was based out of Brooklyn. I feel like there's a line to be drawn between the sounds Rosales was pumping out in New York and Ron Allen's various projects for Strobe and a number of other Canadian labels, arguably two of the best producers inhabiting that emotional 5am zone of deep house with jazzy keys, flutes and gliding pads. That's not to say these cuts are not primed for the dancefloor with huge boomy bass, tuff riffs and cutting drum programming..
